A HiluX spot isn’t locked inside a lighting-only app. It runs on Shelly — the same platform behind smart switches, dimmers, energy meters, plugs, sensors and blinds. One login, one automation engine, one system for the whole home. It works locally on your own Wi-Fi, drops straight into Home Assistant, and needs no cloud account to run. Your downlights aren’t a separate island — they’re part of what you already run.

Lochsäge

For a clean, flush fit, cut the ceiling opening with a 3-1/4" hole saw — it lands inside the fixture’s Ø 3.071–3.268" cut-out range, and the trim snaps in flush with the Ø 3.543" ring covering the opening all around. The 3-1/4" opening also gives you room to route wiring through the junction box’s side knockouts and work the box up through the ceiling. Not sure? We spent the LED budget on color rendering, not an RGB chip. Full tunable white from a candle-warm 2200 K to crisp 6000 K daylight — set from the Shelly app — rendered at 95 CRI (Ra95) with tight ≤5-step color consistency. Skin, wood and food look the way they should. It’s the difference between light that fills a room and light that flatters it.
