This adapter set extends the connection between a Philips Hue LightStrip Plus V4 controller and the strip, so the controller does not have to sit directly at the start of the LED tape.
It solves a familiar problem with the V4 strips: the controller is bulky, it has to go somewhere, and by default that somewhere is exactly where the strip begins — often the most visible point of the whole installation. With these leads in between, the controller can be tucked behind the television, inside a cabinet or under a shelf while the strip starts where the light is actually wanted.
The set contains two leads of 5 cm each, fitted with the six-conductor V4 connector, so both sides of the connection are handled. The original Hue controller and strip are left completely untouched — nothing is cut and nothing is soldered.
Please note that the set extends the connection between the controller and a strip only. It cannot be used to join two Philips Hue LightStrip Plus units together, and it does not add length on its own — to move the controller further away, add an ordinary extension cable in the length you need (15 cm, 1 m and 3 m are available).
Fits the latest Philips Hue LightStrip V4 only. Leads and housings are white so the join blends into light walls and cabinet interiors. Rated IP20, for indoor use in dry locations. Supplied as a complete set, ready to plug in.
