This smart dimmer is the perfect solution if you want to control your normal dimmable LED bulbs via the Philips Hue system. With this dimmer, you can easily make your existing LED bulbs compatible with Philips Hue so you can control them with your other hat products.
The dimmer can handle up to 50W LED lights (equivalent to 100W halogen), which allows you to create the right mood in the room, no matter what bulbs you have put in your lamps. It can be connected directly to the Philips Hue system and is found as a bulb in the app, making it easy to integrate it into your existing setup. This means you can control your normal LED bulbs as easily as your other Hue products.
The dimmer can be mounted directly on the cord of a lamp, and it can be controlled either via zigbee through e.g. Philips Hue, or directly via the turn button on the device itself. The discreet size makes it easy to place it anywhere without it damaging the aesthetic expression.
Upon interruption of the current, the dimmer remembers the last selected setting so that it starts at the same level when the power is turned on again. This makes it easy to have it set exactly as you wish, without having to adjust it every time it turns on.
It is important to be aware that as this product is a third partys solution for Philips Hue, it cannot be guaranteed that it will support future updates from Philips Hue. In addition, it should be mentioned that this product does not support Apple HomeKit.
All in all, this dimmer is a smart and simple solution that allows you to integrate your normal LED bulbs into your Philips Hue system. With the ability to control up to 50W LED lights, remember the power outage settings and the discreet size, this dimmer is a brilliant addition to your SmartHome.
